Applications for Fall '25 AICAD Exchange now open through March 15

Want to study off-campus through AICAD Exchange next semester? Applications are now open for the fall '25 semester!

The AICAD Exchange program offers students the opportunity to study at any AICAD school in the United States and Canada. As part of this exchange program, MCAD students can spend a semester at one of over 29 art and design colleges participating in the program. Find more program and application information here.

Studying off campus is a great way to explore areas outside your major, gain independence and personal growth, and have an adventure away from MCAD!

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Junior Standing (60 credits by fall '25)
  • 15 open studio elective credits - students earn elective credit off campus so make sure you have the room in your degree audit!

Application Details:

  • Apply directly to AICAD by March 15
  • There is no additional tuition cost - you will remain enrolled at MCAD and continue to pay MCAD tuition
  • You financial aid and scholarships will remain the same
  • Because you are going to earn studio elective credits, this is a great opportunity to dabble outside your major!
