ANIMATION CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
Organization: National Park Service - Mississippi National River and Recreation
Wage/Salary: $10,000
Application Deadline: 9/15/2024
Deliverables Due Date: End of December
About: As part of a broad effort to be more inclusive in the park's storytelling we're developing ways of telling under-told stories that are part of our cultural heritage. We're currently searching for an animator to help us create a 45-90 second long sort or teaser to tell about some of our interpretive efforts. We have selected three historic people who are important to our regional history, but who are seldom mentioned. What we envision is an organic-feeling short perhaps in a watercolor style or something similar with a minimal palette. The project would briefly show each person and allude to the adversities and challenges they faced during their lifetimes as well as their relationships with the river.
