Job Title: WEBTOON Influencer Marketing Intern

Organization Name: Webtoon Entertainment Inc.

Wage/Salary: $16/hr

Opportunity Summary: We’re looking for a influencer marketing intern who can identify entertaining content creators who can extend the reach of WEBTOON’s series and brand personality, has a pulse on trending pop-culture, and thrives on telling stories through video content. You will work with internal stakeholders across Marketing and external partners. 

  • Pitch social media partnerships and video ideas that will entertain anime, books, gaming, and drama fans with our series and/or brand lore
  • Recommend new influencers based on audience demographics, social media metrics, and content styles
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and operations of our Ambassador community
  • Update and track multiple content creation and upload schedules to ensure timely delivery of creative assets
  • Schedule, organize, and monitor content performance with social media management tools (e.g. CreatorIQ)
  • Optimize influencer generated contents for owned-and-operated channels
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Job Title: MNHS Press Design Intern

Organization Name: Minnesota Historical Society

Wage/Salary: $15.75–16.25/hr

Opportunity Summary: The MNHS Press Design Intern will assist the publishing staff in the areas of print production, design, marketing, editorial and administration. We offer an exciting opportunity to work with staff willing to share their knowledge of the book industry, and also provide unique and independent projects. The intern will be working in an office environment with a mix of computer and non-computer related work.

  • Assist Marketing staff create print and digital book promotions.
  • Design and layout academic print or electronic direct mailing pieces
  • Provide assistance in delivering image files for publicity and online use
  • Provide production and design assistance for press kits, etc.
  • Website and blog design, including possible production of audio/video podcasts & book trailer
  • Meet with the Editorial department to learn about department functions
  • Conduct library and Internet research for potential books/anthologies/reprints
  • Conduct photo and art research for covers and interiors, including permissions and ordering 
  • Read trade journals and attend acquisitions meetings
  • Meet with the Production Manager to learn about department functions and attend production meetings 
  • Complete production and design work on print-on-demand titles and reprints, including reworking existing cover and text files 
  • Provide production and design support for new titles, including possible cover and interior design. 
  • Attend staff meetings; meet with the Press Director and other divisional staff to learn the business
  • Production and design presentation assistance, including charts, graphs, and PowerPoint

Job Title: Narrative Film & TV Intern

Organization Name: Proximity Media

Wage/Salary: $15-20/hr

Opportunity Summary: Proximity Media (Judas and the Black Messiah, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Creed III) is a multi-media production company seeking highly motivated, ambitious interns to support our narrative film & TV departments. This hybrid position is ideal for those interested in pursuing careers as producers, writers, and/or executives — you must love reading, have strong analytical writing skills, and a passion for diverse & inclusive storytelling. Previous internship experience is preferred. The position is paid and begins in January and runs through early May. We are currently accepting in-person and remote applicants. Interns may work up to 24 hours per week, choosing between full or half-day shifts. However, all interns (including remote interns) must be available to attend our all company meetings on Tuesdays at 10am PT. In-person interns will work at the Proximity offices in Burbank, CA, for two days a week and work remotely for one day a week. 

Responsibilities include script coverage, industry research, watching films, ad-hoc administrative support, special projects related to our slate, and participation in company-wide staff meetings. Interns will have the opportunity to develop an original film/TV pitch to deliver to Proximity executives at the end of the internship, and also meet with industry professionals throughout the semester for wide-ranging insight into the filmmaking and development process.

Job Title: Historic Costuming Intern

Organization Name: Minnesota Historical Society

Wage/Salary: $15.75–16.25/hr

Opportunity Summary: The intern in this position will assist in the process of maintaining historic clothing used in the Oliver Kelley Farm’s K12 and Daily Experience Programs. A successful candidate will have excellent hand-stitching skills and basic competence operating sewing machinery. Depending on interest and experience, there may also be opportunities to conduct historical research with access to museum libraries. At the culmination of the internship, the intern will have added at least two new complete garments to their costume portfolio. 

  • Work with your supervisor to set goals and co-create a work and learning plan that will support those goals
  • Conduct initial condition assessment
  • Assist in mending, inventory tracking, and supply ordering. 
  • Construct at least two complete garments, from initial measurements to fitting and finishing.
