Would you like to show your work in Gallery 148? Do you have an idea for a gallery show you would like to curate?
Gallery 148 is student run, student juried, and shows student work. It is your opportunity to curate a professional quality show right on campus. We hope to show a diverse cross-section of the talent and interests on the MCAD campus. All disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.
Mission:
Gallery 148 is a student-run exhibition space located at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In this area MCAD students can curate shows, exhibit work, host events/workshops, and gain professional experience. Enrolled students run this gallery and we believe their involvement and direction is critical to the success of the space.
Gallery 148 provides an opportunity for students to learn the processes involved in submitting a proposal to a gallery, curating, collaborating, installation, as well as holding an opening and related events for an exhibition. These experiences can be difficult to acquire in academia but are vital to success beyond the walls of MCAD.
Application Deadline: Monday, December 2
