Summary: A successful Program & Gallery Manager will be a dependable, fun-loving professional who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Support programs including, but not limited to, gallery exhibitions, Valley Reads, Mobile Art Gallery, Take Me to the River (fall art fair promotions) and artist-initiated efforts in the St. Croix Valley.

RFP OPPORTUNITY (DEADLINE 11/15)
Title: Arvonne Fraser Library Public Artwork Commission
Organization: Hennepin County
Budget: $70,000
Details: Hennepin County Library is collaborating with Forecast Public Art to facilitate the curation and commissioning process for two permanent artworks located at the north and south stairwells. A goal of the selection process is to select an artist or artists team that has demonstrated experience working in public art and community engagement.
The selected artists will carry out a public engagement process that will inform the design and implementation of the final artwork.

RFQ OPPORTUNITY
RFQ Title: Metropolitan Airports Commission
Organization: Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport
Budget: $175,000
Details: The Arts@MSP Program, a partnership between the Airport Foundation MSP (Foundation) and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), is creating an Artist Roster of emerging, mid-career and established artists who will be prequalified for future public art opportunities at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). This roster will be one method of selecting artists to develop temporary, permanent, free-standing, or site-integrated artwork of various complexities, forms, and sizes, indoors and outdoors, at MSP Terminals 1 and 2. To be eligible to apply, applicants must be practicing professional artists or artist teams residing in the United States.
The Arts@MSP program works to fulfill the mission and goals of the MSP Arts and Culture Master Plan to enhance MSP Airport's image, enrich the public's experience, and promote a sense of place through arts and culture with each work of public art that it commissions. For this public art project, the MSP Arts and Culture Steering Committee has set the following goals:
- Provide a modern, timeless, and inspiring design that encourages guests to explore the cultural context and natural environment of Minnesota and the Upper Midwest region;
- Improve the physical and psychological qualities of MSP, making the assigned space warm and inviting; and
- Make MSP easily identifiable, prioritize guest comfort, and add to the quality of the guest’s MSP airport experience.

GIGS AND FREELANCE ROLES
Job Title: Video Producer
Organization: Kelly Nygard Artist
Pay: $20/hr
Scope: Require (4)3-4 minute loops to be completed by 1/10/25
About: Edit & Assemble 3-4 minute videos from provided footage of me working on various pieces of artwork in my studio, record my scripted reading of me describing my processes/answering common questions about my work (I will write the scripts, I just need help recording and then editing)overlay the voice appropriately over the video footage. Intersperse some provided still shots, creating opening/closing (you may credit your work) and finally, closed captions to run on screen. Provide finished projects in a format acceptable for replaying/looping at galleries, placing on my website and social media(Instagram).
