Title: Event Photographer / Videographer - House Music Events

Pay: $15-20/hour

Overview: Student photographer/videographer for Common Motion, a Minneapolis-based creative brand producing forward-thinking music events. Responsible for capturing live shows, shooting photos and video, and creating short recap content for social media. Tasks included editing reels and recap videos, delivering media on deadline, and showcasing the energy of nightlife and music culture.

Title: Call for Teaching Artists!

Overview: East Side Arts Council is looking for a Hmong Dance instructor to join our artist roster as a teaching artist this spring! Artist will teach a Hmong Dance class to middle school students in grades 6-8 with Flipside after school, as part of our partnership with St. Paul Public Schools.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

Organization: The Toro Company

Title: Multimedia Designer Intern - The Toro Company

Pay: $22-33/Per hour

Overview: 

The Technical Publications Department at The Toro Company is looking for an exceptional intern with great ideas, skills, and passion for multimedia design and innovation. In this position, you will create multimedia experiences that show our customers how to operate Toro software applications and machines. You will gain valuable experience using animation and video software, working with multiple departments, and performing usability testing. In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will:

 

  • Create illustrations, storyboards, line art, animations, videos, augmented reality, and motion graphics.

  • Define and translate customer requirements into effective graphical instructions.

  • Present innovative approaches that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences. 

  • User test animations, motion graphics, and augmented reality experiences.

  • Use the Toro Graphics Style Guide and the Toro Animations Style Guide.

  • Enhance your skills using PTC products (Windchill, Creo Parametric, Creo Illustrate).

GIGS AND FREELANCE ROLES

 

Job Title: Twin Cities Cosmetic Surgery

Organization: Medical Videographer

Pay: $40/hr filming plus $30/hr editing

Scope: 8-10 hours, likely separated into three sessions over several weeks. Deadline 9/30

About: Plastic surgeon in Minneapolis seeking videographer (film student welcome!). Shoot slow-motion procedure clips (with patient consent) and clinic B-roll. ~3 separate filming sessions, each requiring roughly 2-4 hours. Will pay $40/hr filming plus $30/hr editing. Delivered raw and edited/highlight footage. Must be comfortable observing surgical procedures. Must sign release and NDAs. Contact with portfolio.
