Opportunity Summary:We are looking for a creative, social media-savvy intern to join our marketing team for the spring 2026 semester. This is a one-of-a-kind production-oriented position with opportunities to grow within a budding independent children's book publisher. An ideal candidate holds an interest in content production, social media, marketing, publicity, events, and advertising. If you consider yourself to be a Jack and Jill of all creative trades, who enjoys doing and making — sketching, designing, and editing videos — while coming up with fun marketing campaigns, this internship is for you—
Looking for experience with illustrative, photographic, and/or short-form video content, with a website or portfolio exhibiting creative work you've produced. A love for children's literature and a familiarity with the book publishing market are also strongly encouraged, as is a collaborative mindset. The position will report to Oak Tree Comics' founder and managing director, Josh Oaktree. Duties include assisting in the creation and execution of book marketing campaigns and aiding in the production of those campaigns across Oak Tree Comics' social media platforms.
The position can be done entirely remotely, though hybrid work is preferred.

Job Title: Intern - Graphic Design - Summer 2026

We’re Looking For A: HNI’s summer internship program is a great opportunity for first-hand experience in your field of interest. You'll work on one or more projects that create value for our business partners. HNI's large, paid internship program includes exposure to leadership, professional development opportunities (Lunch and Learns, training, skill-building workshops), support through a mentor relationship, volunteering, and social events! The Graphic Design team advances the print, video, and digital marketing and merchandising for HNI Workplace Furnishings programs and key channel partner publications. The visual communications projects include internal and external initiatives, such as event signage, online banners, email templates, advertisements, video tutorials, and catalog page layout.
Company-paid apartment-style housing may also be available, based on students' geographic needs and current housing capacity. Depending on the flexibility of the role, the intern may have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule.
What You Have:
Candidates should be working towards a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field. Junior level coursework is preferred.
Minimum 2.8 GPA
Ability to understand and implement brand standards within projects
Working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience, internships, or involvement in related activities such as tutoring or business fraternities.

Job Title: Web/Graphic Designer & Copywriting Intern

Wage/Salary: $15-20/hr
Portkey SEO Solutions is a Digital Marketing Agency. We help local small businesses with their online presence. We improve online visibility by using effective SEO strategies to help drive up business and increase phone calls for the companies we work with. The Website/Graphic Designer & Copywriting intern will go through training to perform several projects for Portkey SEO's customers. We are looking to hire someone for between 10 and 15 hours a week with the hope of turning the position into a full-time salaried position sometime in the future, depending on the quality of work. If we see serious potential in the individual, we may transition them over to full-time salaried with benefits a little earlier as well.
