Organization: Minnesota Vikings

Title: Graphic Design Associate

Pay:$18/per hour

Overview: The Graphic Design Associates will be an integral part of True North Vikings Creative, the Minnesota Vikings in-house creative team, whose primary goal is to communicate the Vikings brand vision through all mediums. The Associates will be responsible for assisting with conceptual, creative design and production of materials requested by departments across the entire Vikings organization. Requests consist of but are not limited to digital and print collateral, environmental designs for the Vikings’ various facilities, social media designs, logo/brand design and creative brainstorms. The Associates will be expected to work both home and away games to assist in creation of social media content. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task in an exciting, fast-paced environment and must be highly collaborative and open to feedback.

Organization: Walker Art Center

Title: Temporary Installation Support Technician

Pay: $24.99 ‒ 25/ hr

Overview: The Installation Support Technician is a part time role providing staff support for the Collections and Exhibition Management Department.  Individuals in this role will report to the Associate Director of Exhibition Installation (ADEI).  Project assignments will focus on supporting activities related to the preparation, installation and deinstallation of exhibitions, management of the Walker’s permanent collection, the maintenance and cleaning of sculptural artworks in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Walker hillside, and Terraces (including the surrounding grounds).

Title: Storyteller & Content Creator for Youth Arts & Wellness

Pay: $23/hr

Overview: The Storyteller and Content Creator for Youth Arts & Wellness is an emerging creative communicator skilled in visual storytelling, writing, and digital media. This role brings the “Teen Perspectives: Yesterday and Today" program—and related youth initiatives at the Minneapolis Institute of Art—to life for the public, especially audiences under 30.

Organization: Paisley Park

Title: Lighting Designer

Pay: $20-28/hr

Overview: Become a Lighting Designer for Paisley Park, supporting onsite events by creating and running all lighting elements that shape each performance’s visual atmosphere. This on-call role involves collaborating with the production and events teams, translating ideas into lighting concepts, and assisting with equipment setup and maintenance. Applicants should have at least two years of experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

 

Organization: Minnesota Children's Museum

Title: Costume Design & Props Intern

Pay: $16.37/hr

Overview: The Costume Design and Props Intern assists Exhibit Production staff in creating, maintaining, and installing the many costumes and props used by children in our exhibits in St Paul. Many of our exhibits include costumes that children may wear while engaging in dramatic play. Our exhibits also include hundreds of props that need repair and maintenance.

Organization: Minnesota Children's Museum

Title: Exhibit Fabrication Intern

Pay: $16.37/hr

Overview: Minnesota Children's Museum's downtown St. Paul location has 74,000 square feet of exhibits space, in addition to being a leading producer of exhibit rentals for children's museums and having the largest collection of traveling exhibits on the road. The Exhibit Fabrication Intern will assist exhibit production staff in the fabrication and design of exhibits, installation of exhibitions, and exhibit repair and maintenance. Interns will be given the opportunity to exercise and strengthen their existing skills, to develop new skills of exhibit making, and to exercise responsibility, creativity and imagination. The internship requires hours to be completed at the museum.

Organization: Treasure Island Resort & Casino

Title: Print Production Intern

Pay: $14.25/hr

Overview: This internship supports the Treasure Island and Prairie Island Brand Communications team by assisting with the design, development, and production of casino signage and various internal and external communications. Responsibilities include maintaining large-format printing equipment, providing accurate day-to-day support, and working several special events such as parades or concerts. Interns must be enrolled in a graphic design, art/advertising, or print production program and be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently, manage multiple tasks, and interact professionally with guests and staff. Work may take place both indoors and outdoors, involves regular computer use, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds.
