Job Title: Video Media Production Intern

Organization Name: Phoenix Closures, Inc.

Wage/Salary: $20/hr

Opportunity Summary: The Video Media Production Intern is a temporary position that allows college students or recent college graduates, studying video creation and production to gain valuable experience in shooting, editing, producing videos, and motion graphics for business. The Video Production intern will be involved in all aspects of the video production process, including planning, creating, processing, uploading, editing, and managing video for a wide variety of distribution channels. Their primary role will be to create 30 second to two-minute videos for social media, 3-5 minute engaging promotional videos, or product demos. 

Essential functions:

  • A passion and interest in digital video production & editing, multimedia arts, film, or media studies (samples of work required)

  • Assist the marketing department on creating storyboards or scripts for 3-5 topic related videos

  • Schedule, plan and shoot video footage with mirrorless Canon R7 camera

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other video editing software

  • Experience in selecting and advising the purchase of video production and editing equipment, if additional equipment is needed

  • An engaging person with positive attitude that makes those not used to being filmed feel at ease 

Minimum 3 years completed towards a bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Videography, Video Production or Video Editing or related field.

Job Title: Summer Motion Design Internship

Organization Name: Design B&B

Wage/Salary: $22/hr 

Opportunity Summary: As an intern, you’ll wear a number of hats in our collaborative and fast-paced environment. From research and innovation sessions to motion for brand identity systems, you’ll have a hand in all aspects of the design process from beginning to end. You will report directly to our senior motion designer under the guidance of a hands-on company principal, all while learning every day and creating meaningful work. Design is for everyone. Job Title: Motion Design Animator, Thrive Intern

Organization Name: Duolingo

What we're looking for...

  • Second-year undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animation, or related technical field, graduating in May 2028 (or December 2027). 

  • Completion of at least two college-level design courses (please upload your official or unofficial transcript).

  • Experience animating in creative software such as Animate, AfterEffects, Harmony, Rive, or other comparable software

  • Available for a full-time 10-week internship from June to August.

Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

Organization Name: Minnesota State Fair

Wage/Salary: $18/hr

Opportunity Summary: The Minnesota State Fair welcomes over two million guests during the 12 days of the fair each year. The fair also rents parts of the fairgrounds to a number of non-fair events who have even more guests attending their events! To meet the signage needs of the fair and non-fair events, the fair has its own in-house sign shop. The sign shop is responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of all signage across the fairgrounds. The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for assisting our two full-time sign shop staff in preparing and maintaining signs and graphics on the fairgrounds.

Employment Type

  • Summer Employment - Begin in June continue through September.

  • Extended hours during peak times, including some weekends and evenings are required. 

  • Required to work all 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair, August 27– September 7, 2026. 

  • Possible part-time hours through mid-September. 

Essential Functions

  • Apply design skills to execute edits to various print and digital design components.

  • Prepare files for print production, substrate preparation, application and banner fabrication.

  • Perform quality assurance checks throughout design and production process.

  • Work on various projects simultaneously.

  • Follow the direction of supervisors to refine/execute higher level concepts.

  • Assist with tasks (not necessarily sign-related) assigned by either the immediate supervisor or general manager as needed.
