Time to Register or RE-Register your Student Club
Interested in starting a club this semester? Register! Had a club last semester and want to keep it going? Register! In order to be an officially recognized student club on campus(with all the perks: room reservations, promotions, listings, and funding, ect), you must REGISTER each semester!
Creating or participating in a club on campus is a great way to build community and make connections. Clubs can be as formal or as casual as you like. They are fully student run, and Student Affairs is here to help!
SO, do you want to run a Student Club on campus? Here’s what you need to do:
- Fill out the SP 26 Club Registration Form (both old and new clubs need to fill this out!) This form and other club resources can be found on the Student Affairs page of the MCAD Intranet.
- For additional information, check out the Club Handbook!
- If you have any questions, feel free to email Kate Gunther (Student Experience Coordinator) at kgunther@mcad.edu.
Important Club Dates:
- We will have a Remote Meeting to talk Clubs and Club Fair, Thursday January 29, 12:05-1:00 p.m. We encourage all club leaders and any one interested in clubs to attend. It will be a relaxed space to ask questions, and get prepared for our SPRING CLUB FAIR!
- Once registered, and before the Spring 26 Club Fair, Kate will be sending an email to all Sp ‘26 registered clubs with some new information for club leadership(especially around requesting funds and a new direct deposit and accounting system for funds(ooooo lala!))
- Spring 26 Club Fair! Save the Date, we will be having a Spring Club Fair, Tuesday February 3, from noon-1:00 p.m. in the College Center! Did you enjoy the Fall Club Fair? This is similar, but inside! (Ooooooo, Ahhhhhh) Club Fair is your opportunity as a club leader to promote, or re-promote, your cl ub and gather contact info of students who would like to participate! Students, it’s your chance to see what clubs are out there and introduce yourself.
