Title: Screen Printer

Pay:$17-25/per hour

Overview: As a Screen Printer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials using various screen printing techniques. Reporting to the Production Manager, your role is essential in ensuring that designs are accurately translated onto fabrics and other surfaces. Join our team to bring innovative designs to life!

Title: Visitor Experience Representative – Modern Art and Politics

Pay: $21.27/hr

Overview: Welcome visitors to the museum by listening, orienting, and assisting them to make sure they have everything they need to have a phenomenal experience. Help visitors feel included, encourage them to see new galleries and try new programs, advise them on what the museum has to offer. Perform sales duties, update customer records, and keep database accurate. Represent Mia in a positive and professional manner in all interactions with visitors, volunteers, and museum staff. (Additional $1.00 per hour if fluent in the following languages - Spanish, Somali, Hmong, American Sign Language)

Overview: The Galleries Visitor Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all museum visitors and monitoring and maintaining museum exhibits and props.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

Organization: Lanesboro Arts

Title: Summer Programs Intern

Pay: $2.000 / Stipend

Overview: The Programs Intern will work directly with the Lanesboro Arts Program Director and Executive Director on a broad range of communications and events activities in an active and innovative non-profit setting. The intern gains hands-on experience coordinating and promoting summer youth education, Art in the Park, and performing arts programs. Job duties include creating effective communications, including news releases, storytelling videos, and physical marketing materials. This position will also assist with membership data entry, creating and maintaining organizational systems, and general administrative work. The intern will have the opportunity to pursue long-term projects in service of Lanesboro Arts Programs as well.

Title: Summer Gallery Internship

Pay: $2.000 / Stipend

Overview: The Gallery Intern will be immersed in the daily operation of a fine arts gallery, and will gain experience in communicating with artists, uplifting artist’s work through in-person and digital communications, working with customers, hanging exhibitions, planning receptions, and managing gallery sales. The gallery internship provides an opportunity to actively participate in the community engagement, public arts education, creative advocacy, and sales efforts of the Juried Sales and Exhibition galleries. Strong writing skills, or a desire to develop them, are a must. This intern will work with the Lanesboro Arts Gallery Manager and Program Director.
