2026 Made at MCAD Jurying Results

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Made at MCAD open call; it was a huge success! Our juror, curator, gallery director, and performance artist, Francesca Bernardi, spent hours reviewing your work to make their selections. 48 artists out of over 300 submissions were selected for the exhibition. The list of artists whose work is included in the exhibition is listed below. Juried exhibitions come with both excitement and disappointment, but I want to thank you all for participating.

Artwork that was selected must be dropped off during the designated drop-off window to be included in the exhibition.

Artwork Drop Off in the Main Gallery:

Wednesday, March 11, from 9:00 a.m.—4:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 12, from 9:00 a.m.—2:30 p.m.

Installation will be Monday, March 16, through Thursday, March 19. If we have questions about your work or installation, we may need to contact you during that week.

Please review the details below to ensure your name, major, artwork title, and material description are correct. Email gallery@mcad.edu with any edits no later than Thursday, March 12

About the 2026 Made at MCAD Juror:

Francesca Bernardi (they/them) is a Minneapolis-based curator, gallery director, visual and performance artist, and licensed mental health therapist whose work centers community engagement and contemporary visual culture. They served as Gallery Director and co-owner at Gamut Gallery for two years, acting as lead curator for eight exhibitions and supporting five additional shows. Across their curatorial practice, Bernardi has worked with nearly 300 artists across solo and group exhibitions, as well as with performers and event-based creatives. Their curatorial approach is guided by strong visual intuition and an interest in work that feels timely, emotionally compelling, and thoughtfully executed, with particular attention to how artwork communicates with its audience.
