The MCAD housing application for the 2026/27 academic year is now available online. Log into myMCAD and go to Student Life » Forms to get started. If you are requesting a particular roommate, be sure that they also request you and that all your preferences match.
HOUSING REQUIREMENT: FIRST AND SECOND YEAR
All first and second year students are required to live on campus. Class standing is determined by completed credits (Junior status is 60 credits and above). The housing application will automatically appear in myMCAD when you log in.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
Friday, April 10 is the priority deadline to submit the 2026/27 housing application. Applications received after the deadline are placed at the bottom of the waitlist and receive lowest priority.
PHOTOS / FLOOR PLANS
Photos and sample floor plans showing furniture arrangements are posted on mcad.edu.
HOUSING DEPOSIT
If you have not submitted a housing deposit in the past (or if your deposit has been refunded) you must submit the $350 deposit with the application in order to be considered for campus housing. If you already have a housing deposit on file, please do not submit the deposit again.

Summer 2026 Housing Application Available

Summer 2026 MCAD Housing Application
You do not need to be taking summer classes to be eligible to live on-campus during the summer. The priority deadline for submitting the summer application is 3pm Monday, April 20—later will be accepted; sooner would be better.
Note that if you are not assigned to live on campus Fall 2026 semester, the summer move out deadline is August 1.
