Good morning!
This coming Monday, March 16th, at 6 pm, we will be cutting over our primary internet circuit to a new service.
This is being done to expand our port speed and give us more direct control over our internet service.
We apologize for doing this in the early evening, but due to the dependence of our campus on this service - and to make sure we have additional vendor resources on hand, we are doing this during the week to help ensure a stable and smooth cutover.
We will have staff from MCAD Technology, as well as engineers and related resources from the carrier working in efforts to keep the outage window as narrow as possible.
Date: Monday, March 16 2026
Time: 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Services Affected: Internet service for all of campus
Back Out Plan if needed: will be to revert back to the current service
Once the cutover is complete, some devices may require a reboot to re-establish their connectivity - If any of your devices have any issues after we are complete with our work, please reboot/restart the device, and if issues persist - please send us an email at the helpdesk@mcad.edu.
