Job Title: Communications Intern

Organization Name: City of Mounds View

Wage/Salary: $20/hr

Opportunity Summary: This position is under the direction and supervision of the Director of Public Works / Parks and Recreation and responsible for updating social media and website maintenance. Photographing special events and staff photos. Updating marketing materials and assisting with the City newsletter related to the 2040 Park Master Plan, GOAL PARKS, and funding options. Assist with writing, editing, and preparing articles for City residents and employees, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, and electronic communication as directed by Director of Public Works / Parks and Recreation. Serve as a City photographer and videographer. Take and prepare photos and video for web, social media, and print promotions.

Other roles on the job: 

  • Assist with updating the City's website by creating and linking content and ensuring the site is current and relevant.

  • Create, edit and publish videos for YouTube, website, and social media.

  • Research trends and video tools.

  • Create content for social media communication tools, monitor inquiries, complaints, and comments and respond to routine citizen requests or questions.

  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of City services through special events, promotions, community events, public gatherings and related activities.

  • Attend and assist in scheduling, participating in, or coordinating events and activities to market and promote the City, as needed (i.e., ground breakings, open houses, festivals, grand openings, recreation events, etc.).

  • Measure campaign performance using analytics and reporting on Key performance indicators (i.e., return on investment engagement rates).

Job Title: Graphic Design and Multimedia internship

Opportunity Summary: Goff Public is seeking motivated students to join our immersive Gofftern Program and develop their skills as professionals in visual communications and creative design. We are currently accepting applications for a graphic design/multimedia intern for fall semester 2026. As a graphic design/multimedia intern in the Gofftern Program, you will have numerous opportunities to gain valuable, real-world experience, make professional connections, build your portfolio and launch your career. Working closely with our creative team on day-to-day work for Goff Public’s diverse array of clients, including graphic design, videography/photography, multimedia production, research, and branding.

Students who are interested in a career in visual communications and creative services and/or are focusing in areas such as graphic design and video production are encouraged to apply. Job Title: Technical Design Intern

Organization Name: TLB Holdings, Inc.

Wage/Salary: $18-20/hr

Opportunity Summary: Leo & Nicole/TLB Holdings is an apparel company with focus on quality, uniqueness, and garment fit. We make sweaters, knit and woven tops, for Missy, Petite and Plus sizes. The Technical Design Intern will assist the technical design team with the entire product process, from development through the production stage. Job duties include participation in fit sessions, taking fit notes, creating and updating tech packs, measuring samples and working with team on strategies to solve fit and construction issues. Additional may duties include Technical Sketching, CAD work and evaluation of Lab Dips, Bulk Swatches and Trims. Position will be responsible for assisting the technical design team with the entire process of garment review from inception to delivery. Requires maintenance of detailed records, timely completion of forms and strong correspondence skills between production and customer. Includes working in ERP system to log garment measurements, fit photos and alterations and communicating those to the factory.

Qualifications:

  • Critical eye for detail and proportion

  • Strong measurement and technical skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator

  • Knowledge of Optitex software, preferred

Job Title: Video & Motion Graphics Intern

We are looking for a final-year student in motion, film, or animation who is ready to stop doing class projects and start doing the real thing. This is a paid, remote internship open to students currently based in the United States, Canada, or Europe.

What You Bring:

  • In your final year of a degree in motion design, film, animation, or a related field

  • A showreel or portfolio demonstrating pacing, storytelling, and visual flow

  • Solid skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar tools

  • A strong sense of timing and an eye for how movement creates meaning

  • Receptive to feedback and committed to improving the work

  • Hungry to grow, not just to add a line to your CV
