Hi Everyone,
As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to communicate some important studio move-out information. Please review the following information carefully and reach out with any questions.
Studio Move Out:
- All undergraduate students must be moved out of their studio by the end of the day May 24. This includes all lockers, cubbies, and common areas. Anything left will be discarded immediately.
- Beginning May 9, there will be extra garbage / recycling bins available in each studio area. In addition, a large dumpster will be located in the MCAD Parking Lot.
Temporary Shared Summer Storage:
Due to the large amount of construction that will be occurring on campus this summer ESS will be unable to provide summer storage.
Undergraduate Summer Studios:
Reminder! Please fill out the Summer Application Form by May 1 if you’d like a summer studio!
To be eligible for a Summer studio you must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Be a current Studio Holder in the Spring 2026 semester.
- You MUST have a cumulative of 30 credits or more (sophomore status or higher).
- You MUST be a currently registered student for a minimum of one class during the Summer. (The only exception we allow is that you may also apply if you are hired by an MCAD department to work this summer)
- You MUST have a declared major.
*Summer internships that are already registered as part of the Spring 2026 semester will count toward this requirement.
Undergraduate FA Studio Application
Reminder! Please fill out the FA Studio Application by May 13 if you’d like a studio in the Fall!
To be eligible for a studio for Academic Year 2026-2027 you MUSTmeet ALL of the following criteria:
- You MUST have a cumulative of 30 credits or more (sophomore status or higher).
- You MUST be registered for a minimum of 12 credits for each semester (full time status).
- You MUST have a declared major.
Studio priority is given to Juniors and Seniors as well as to those who complete the form by the May 13 deadline.
