Job Title: CAD Designer CNC Tech

Organization Name: Elite Marine Innovations

Wage/Salary: $20-30/hr

Opportunity Summary: We're looking for a Junior CAD designer and CNC operator with design skills to review, tool path, and port 2D Vertic Vcarve Pro files to our ShopSabre CNC routing equipment.   Join our young, energetic, outdoor-loving, and innovative team that creates Custom Marine products for our clients on Lake Minnetonka and the surrounding areas.

In this dynamic, emerging-technology role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our CNC machines to produce precision parts according to DXF files, 2D CAD designs, and project specifications. The ideal candidate should communicate well and be organized to keep projects on schedule.   We will provide training to enhance your CAD design skills and educate you on our industry, marine fabrication, CNC machinery, and processes.  The ideal candidate should have the passion and ability to ensure the highest quality standards in machining operations using ShopSabre CNC routing equipment. We will train on ShopSabre and our specific, innovative projects and solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform set-ups, and fabrication of EVA sheets for a wide variety of installation applications on our in-house ShopSabre CNC machine.  

  • Monitor variations in sequence, e.g., positioning, cycle time, etc., and make necessary corrections to increase productivity.

  • Work from drawings, estimates, digital scan tools and/or specifications with little direction from the current Team Leader.

  • Run production and deburr’s parts as required.

  • Help determine best practices for machining product processes

  • Select and align tooling, fixtures and attachments for machining

  • Perform in-process inspection of own work while running machine.

  • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition. 

  • Work safely and comply with all established safety rules and work practices.

  • Be willing to support on water dockside or in shop installations when needed.

  • Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines and equipment.

Job Title: Prototyping and Fabrication Intern

Organization Name: Mastery Industries

Wage/Salary: $20-30/hr

Opportunity Summary: Mastery Bridge is celebrating our 19th year in business and looking to hire an intern to help in our fabrication and manufacturing team! You'll get to help us create some of our most popular guitar hardware products, and possibly some of our new product prototypes, while focusing on maintaining our high standard of quality and excellence.

You will be a great fit if you have the following:

  • Experience working in a machine shop using equipment like drill press, 3/4 axis vertical mill, and grinding/polishing wheels.

  • Experience with hand tools and measurement equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.

  • Enjoy working with your hands, creative problem solving, and maintaining close attention to detail.

  • Able to stand on a shop floor to operate machinery and lift upwards of 50 lbs.

  • Able to wear personal protective equipment (eyewear, facemasks/respirators, hearing protection, etc) as needed.

Preferred background includes:

  • Working with CNC milling machines, including machine operation, G-Code programming, and CNC toolpath generation (using software such as Fusion, Solidworks, etc).

  • Experience reading 2D and 3D drawings, geometric dimensions, and an understanding of GD&T.

  • Experience with metal fabrication and production.

Job Title: Public Relations Internship

Opportunity Summary: Goff Public is looking to develop the next generation of communications professionals through our immersive, fast-paced internship program for motivated students – known as our Gofftern Program. We are currently accepting applications for a public relations intern for fall semester 2026. Students who are interested in a career in public relations or public affairs and/or are majoring in areas such as communications, public relations, journalism or political science are encouraged to apply. We are placing a high preference on students who are close to finishing their undergraduate or graduate degree or who recently graduated. 

As a public relations intern in the Gofftern Program, you will have numerous opportunities to gain valuable, real-world experience, make professional connections and launch your career. Activities and tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Assisting account teams with day-to-day work for Goff Public’s diverse array of clients, including writing, research and media monitoring  

  • A behind-the-scenes look at a variety of clients and industries 

  • Possible participation in client events, meetings and brainstorms 

  • Introductory meetings with Goff Public’s team of experts on a variety of topics, from lobbying and advocacy to crisis communications and community engagement to video and digital communications  

  • Optional participation in activities planned by the Goff Public Fun Committee, such as offsite gatherings, sporting events, all-office contests and more

  • Must be student enrolled in a degree program at a trade school, college or university which recognizes the internship for a class credit.

  • Must be available weekdays between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

  • A self-starter that thrives under the pressure of strict deadline.

  • Excellent research and writing skills.

  • Experience shooting and editing video preferred.

  • A passion for local programming and storytelling is critical.

  • Working knowledge of the internet, digital media platforms, and strong computer skills are essential.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and safe driving record as determined by the Company preferred (driving record will be checked).
