Dear MCAD Community,
Earlier today, several members of the MCAD community received an email containing language that referenced potential violence on campus.
We immediately reported the message to law enforcement and are actively coordinating with our public safety partners to assess and monitor the situation. We are taking this matter seriously and will continue to follow guidance from law enforcement and provide updates if circumstances change.
If you receive a threatening message or observe suspicious activity on campus, please do not engage. Instead, contact Campus Safety at 612-874-3801 or campus_safety@mcad.edu.
The safety and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority. We understand that messages like this can be unsettling, and we appreciate your cooperation and patience as we continue to monitor the situation.
