This Sunday, May 31, we will be performing some patching and other maintenance on some of our server infrastructure.
We also have a new notification format that is hopefully a little more streamlined, and primarily focuses on the services affected, rather than sharing all of the host details.
Date: Sunday, May 31
Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
End Time: 11:00 a.m.
Services Affected: Windows Domain Controllers (both Winlab and Graylock), Web Development, Licensing, SMS/Card Key Access, DNS/DHCP, LDAP/Radius, Internal Scanning Folders, PowerFaids/myaid.mcad.edu, and the Windows Password Reset Website.
Please note: Although the SMS/Card Key server will be patched and rebooted during this window - the work performed will not affect SMS/Card Key operations during the window.
Other Work: A rack mounted UPS Battery will be swapped on the 1st floor in the distribution closet. This should not interrupt any service, but there is a slight risk of rebooting the equipment with the battery replacement.
