Dear MCAD Community,
I am writing to share a leadership update in the Media Arts Department.
Shannon Benine's last day as Chair of Media Arts was June 30, 2026. Please join me in thanking her for her leadership and service to the department. Shannon will remain on faculty as a Professor in the Media Arts department.
As of July 1, Joshua (Yoshi) Seaver will serve as Interim Chair of Media Arts. Yoshi's strong combination of leadership experience and institutional knowledge reflects a deep commitment to both our students and the continued growth of the department. I hope you will join me in supporting Yoshi as they step into this important role.
