Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) supports a safe and healthy environment for learning, teaching, and creative work at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Many activities at MCAD involve specialized tools, equipment, and materials, making safety awareness an important part of studio and workplace practice. EHS works with departments across campus to develop safety programs, provide guidance and training, and help reduce risks associated with studio processes, facilities operations, and daily campus activities. This site provides safety resources, emergency procedures, and guidance to help members of the MCAD community work safely.
