The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education is an independent 501(c)(3) whose mission is to "inspire and catalyze higher education to lead the global sustainability transformation." They host numerous workshops, webinars, and discussion boards that allow campuses, professionals, and students to connect, learn and deepen their commitment to sustainable design systems. AASHE fosters growth, support and collaboration to its members as colleges and institutions continue to be leaders in innovation, design and methodolgy. MCAD proudly became a new member as of December 2014, giving any MCAD staff, faculty and students complete access to its resources.
