At MCAD, we strive to create and inspire a sustainable campus environment by promoting work practices and life styles that don't compromise the lives and health of future generations.
The Sustainability Environmental Action Committee represents many campus wide initiatives that reduce energy and waste, promote conservation, and decrease MCAD’s impact on the environment. We provide support to departments, facilities, and students who want to improve or maintain sustainable practices, start initiatives, or monitor implemented projects. SEAC meets several times a year in order to progress these goals, and take advantage of the unique opportunity for creative collaboration and problem solving here at MCAD. Students are invited to be active participants in advancing a sustainable future for themselves on campus as well as in the community.
