Bee Club

MCAD Bee Club is open to all students, faculty and staff. In 2014, two hives were added to the rooftop, maintained and monitored by MCAD staff and partners from the University of Minnesota.Since then, Bee Club's goal is to promote awareness about Colony Collapse Disorder and a greater understanding of human dependence on healthy pollinator communities. Through on-campus honey tastings, workshops, and even valentines, MCAD printshop and bee club work together to show the love for a creature of many disciplines. Diana Eicher, Director of the Printshop and Paper Studios, is the Bee Club Staff Advisor.
