We are pleased to welcome Christopher Danforth to MCAD as Media Technology Services (Media Center) Manager

Christopher Danforth is an academic technologist and interdisciplinary artist born in St. Paul, Minnesota. His work combines found objects and antiquated media formats with current digital technologies. He has won awards from the Jerome Foundation, the American Composers Forum, and New Music USA. He was recently awarded an Artist Fellowship for Composing by the McKnight Foundation, and a Fellowship from the Lucas Artists Residency Program at the Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California.

Faculty Union Negotiations Update

Dear MCAD Community,

I am pleased to share that MCAD and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) have reached tentative agreements with both full-time and adjunct faculty members of the collective-bargaining units. In the coming weeks these tentative agreements will go to the MCAD Board of Trustees and the SEIU membership for approval and ratification.
