MCAD employees who have worked at least 1,000 hours in the 12 month period immediately preceding the leave are eligible for parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child. Parental leave provides up to 12 weeks of time off. The leave will look different if the employee is a birthing parent, or non-birthing parent.
Vacation Accrual: MCAD encourages all benefit-eligible nonexempt employees to take advantage of vacation benefits. Employees will accrue based on the following schedule:
