Jury Duty
The College encourages employees to respond to calls for jury duty and will continue full pay for five business days for regularly scheduled employees while they serve. Jury duty compensation will not be deducted from this amount. While serving on a jury, employees are expected to report for regular work hours to the extent permitted by the schedule of jury duty.
Military Duty
The College recognizes duty requirements of members of the U.S. Armed Forces and will comply with applicable laws regarding military leave.
Bereavement Leave
All benefit-eligible employees are eligible for bereavement leave. Employees will be granted up to three working days leave of absence with pay for the purpose of attending or making arrangements in the event of a death in the immediate family (spouse, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, sister, stepsister, brother, stepbrother, sibling of spouse, mother-in-law, father-inlaw, grandparent, step grandparent, grandchild, step grandchild).
