Will you be staying on campus over Thanksgiving break?

If so, here’s an opportunity to enjoy a screamingly funny holiday show with your fellow students.

Open Eye Theatre, located near campus, has agreed to welcome us to their Friday, November 28 preview performance of Scrooge in Rouge.

In this Victorian music hall take on Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol,” three performers and their accompanist attempt to portray over twenty different characters in what is described as “a raucous extravaganza with outrageous costumes, sassy lyrics, and side-splitting performances guaranteed to get your spirits soaring.”

Interested?  See the Open Eye Theatre Web site for more details.

(Full disclosure: my wife is the show’s costume designer, and I’ve seen this production in rehearsal – I’m sure you’d have a ball with it, and the more of you the merrier!)

Sign up with Allan in the Library!  The cost of your ticket is covered!
