Continuing Education

Continuing Education offers a wide selection of for-credit and non-credit courses and workshops in the evenings and on weekends-both in person and online. Continuing Education also offers a range of classes and camps for youth ages 6-18 during the summer, as well as a residential Pre-College Summer Session for high school students.

Students may fulfill up to 15 credits of their BFA degree requirements by taking one-credit courses through Continuing Education. These credits typically transfer as electives, but students should speak with their academic advisor regarding specifics. During Fall and Spring semesters, full-time students who are registered for 12 to 18 credits may register tuition-free for up to two Continuing Education courses per semester. Students will be required to pay any additional materials fees. This discount is available on a space-available basis. Students may register for these classes in the Records office.

In addition, Continuing Education offers three Master of Arts Degrees, a MA in Graphic and Web Design , a MA in Sustainable Design, and a MA in Creative Leadership.

Benefits eligible staff and faculty, and their spouses and dependent children, are invited to take advantage of the Continuing Education tuition waiver process to take courses at no cost. Please see the Human Resources page for more information.
