Dear MCAD Community,
The 28th MCAD Art Sale is upon us, and company is coming! This yearly event makes an incredible impact on the lives of MCAD artists. Thank you for your partnership in making it a success. Below are a few key reminders while the event is being prepared for and being held:
ARTWORK
As you have seen, our walls and hallways are buzzing in preparation for the event. Please help us respect the creativity and talents of participating artists by not handling artwork in the hallways, and throw your Art Sale installers some affirmations and gratitude!
MCAD ART SALE HOURS
THURSDAY, NOV. 20
Ticketed event
First Access Party, Closed to the community
6:00–9:00 p.m.
FRIDAY, NOV. 21
Ticketed event
Social Night, Open to participating artists, faculty & staff RSVP and ticket holders
6:00–9:00 p.m.
SATURDAY, NOV. 22
Not ticketed
Community Day, Free and open to all community members
10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
BUILDING ACCESS
MCAD is open to you per usual unless otherwise communicated via department during the event. We ask that you partner with us to best direct the flow of traffic away from the congestion of event attendees. Please use the marked red star entrances below on the South and East to access the building, staying away from the Main Gallery entrance as this is our attendee entrance.
PARKING
No parking will be permitted in Lot C after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20 to accommodate our guests.
SERVICE BUREAU
Service Bureau will close its second-floor hallway doors for attendees on Thursday and Friday. Staff will still be on site until normal business hours, processing orders and responding to emails.
