This annual juried competition rewards excellence and creativity in the medium of Artists' Books and builds the collection of Artists' Books in the MCAD Library. It is open to currently enrolled degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students.
Contestants have a chance to win one first prize of $250 and two honorable mention prizes of $100. Winning books will be considered for addition to the Library's artists' book collection, however you are not required to sell your book to win.

As co-chairs of the Presidential Search Committee, we are happy to report that the search is proceeding well and on schedule. We have now identified a select number of individuals that we will be invited to campus in the next several weeks.
While it is customary at the campus stage to have a "closed" or confidential search process, we are planning a campus round with select groups of faculty, students, staff, and administrators who will serve three very important roles:

A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or better is required to enter. *Students receiving VA Yellow Ribbon or the Tuition Exchange/Waiver award are not eligible to compete in merit scholarship competitions.
Merit Scholarship Awards will be added to existing financial aid.
