Registration for ALL First-Year (29 credits or less) and Undeclared Students is November 11, at 9:00 a.m.! Be prepared and attend Group Advising.

Advising and Registration is just around the corner! To prepare for your advising session, please complete the tasks below.

How to Prepare for Your Advising Session

To make the most of your time, please complete these steps beforehand and bring your laptop to your appointment! 

• Locate and Review your Degree Audit. This is a magical "living" document that shows your progress toward graduation. It lists the courses you've completed, are completing, and still need to take. You can find it on MyMCAD → Academic Advising → View More Details → Degree Audit Report PDF.
• Review Sample Degree Audits for the majors you're most interested in. These list all the required courses and can help you decide what to explore next. You can find them on the MCAD Intranet, on the Academic Advising Resources page.
• Review the Course Schedule when it becomes available (Friday, October 23!). Go to MyMCAD under the Registration tab. You'll see all the courses offered for the spring, plus any prerequisites. You'll also find an Advising and Registration Guide there, which has answers to tons of questions.
• Save this information for future reference! Ain’t that just the way?

Group Advising Session Sign Up

**Did you know you must attend Group Advising to register for Spring 2027 classes? That’s a rock fact!

Please sign up for an advising session based on your current or intended major using the link below.

• Only sign up for ONE advising session, and be careful not to edit someone else's appointment time.
• If you're undecided on a major, just choose a session for the one you're leaning toward—I can help you with the rest.
• If you can't find a time that works for you within your intended major, just sign up for any session that fits your schedule.
