Title: Contract Teaching Artist (Visual Arts)

Pay: $40/hour

Overview: We seek Teaching Artists as part of a project to deliver free workshops expanding access to high-quality arts experiences for underserved seniors and families around the Twin Cities. Title: Youth Art Instructor

Pay: $23.05/hr

Overview: The Eagan Art House is seeking a creative and collaborative individual for our open Youth Art Instructor position. This position teaches visual art for the Eagan Art House youth and teen classes, birthday parties, and field trips. Students are primarily ages 6 to 14. This position will implement pre-planned curriculum in a variety of media including clay, painting, and multi-media.

Overview: As a carpenter, you’ll play a vital role in bringing the artistic vision of a production to life! You’ll get to build, install, and maintain scenic elements, sets, and props- on budget and within tight timelines. Working closely with other production team members, you’ll interpret technical drawings, utilize woodworking tools, and ensure the structural integrity and safety of scenic pieces, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and efficiency.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

Organization: Kohl’s

Title: Apparel Design Intern

Pay: $16.50/hr

Overview: 

As an Apparel Design Intern, you will support all aspects of product creation for Kohl’s private-label brands. You will gain a strong understanding of each brand’s aesthetic and customer while developing the foundational design skills necessary in the apparel industry. You will be placed within a specific category or brand but have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in research and trends specific to category and brand 

  • Sketch designs focus on stitch, detail and proportion accuracy

  • Create presentations using Google Slides to articulate design concepts

  • Present your work with research and application in the form of color, mood boards, collages, and original designs through AI sketches and Photoshop CADs

Overview: 

Mortenson’s Strategic Marketing Team is seeking a creative, motivated, and digitally engaged individual to fill the role of Social Media Intern. The intern will help in ideation, creation, and implementation of social media content from across the entire company. The individual in this role will collaborate with other team members, such as communications creators, regional office marketers, innovation specialists, and talent acquisition teams. You'll support the Digital Team by gaining an understanding of Mortenson’s services, offerings, teams, audiences, and customers and translating the goals of all stakeholders into relatable, on brand social media content.
