Job Title: UX Design Intern

What We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects, including any work related to design systems, user interfaces, or user research.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual aesthetics and usability.
Passionate about user experience, design systems, and continuous learning.

Job Title: Social Media & Digital Storytelling Intern
Organization Name: Minnesota Historical Society
Wage/Salary: $16.50/hr
Opportunity Summary: The Social Media Intern exists to assist in the creation and execution of engaging social media strategies and web and media content to be distributed across all social media channels. They will work with the Social Media Program Manager to coordinate social media content for the MNHS main channel as well as over 14 unique sites and museums in the MNHS historic site network. This position will offer hands-on opportunities to film and direct content on-site, and collaborate with various staff to create powerful engagement with Minnesota history.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
Detail-oriented
Creative thinker with an eye for high-quality content
Excellent communication skills
Interest in and/or experience with content creation, video editing, and copywriting
Ability to use Google Hangouts for meetings
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn)
