Declare Your Major by Wednesday, April 1

Attention undeclared students with 30+ credits!

You've explored, you've experimented, and now it's time to officially claim your artistic home!

Wednesday, April 1st, is the declaration deadline for students with 30+ credits. This isn't just paperwork, it’s your ticket to:

  • Early Registration (April 14th): Registester before the undeclared students.
  • Dedicated Guidance: You’ll be assigned a faculty advisor who is an expert in your area of study.

Don't miss out! Students who do not declare will register later in April and must attend a required Group Advising Session to be cleared for registration.

Declare Your Major in 2 Quick Steps:

It’s easy-peasy!

  1. Form: Go to MyMCAD, find the Records Office tab, and submit the Declaration of Major Form.
  2. Connect: Email your Department Chair (listed below) to set up a brief, informal meet-and-greet. This is a great chance to introduce yourself!
