Marcie LaCerte will give a short presentation on their process for creating The Pleasure Dome film on view in the Faculty Biennial exhibition.

The Columbus Monument at the Capitol: Public Interventions, Democratic Intentions

A short program of film projections by Sam Hoolihan that explore light, landscape, and the passage of time. This noon-hour screening will be a mix of both silent and sound work accompanied by artist John William Marks. Sam and John have collaborated for over a decade presenting expanded cinema work throughout North America and will be projecting a work-in-progress at the screening. The event will take place in the Gray Studio on the 3rd floor in MCAD's main building.

How I spent my summer vacation…
Dr. Chisholm will discuss the two new art history courses she developed over the last two years: Art and Performance and Renaissance and Baroque Art; her role as program coordinator for the Midwest Art History Society’s Annual conference hosted at MCAD in 2027 (canceled in 2026 due to ICE occupation); and her preliminary research-in-progress on Nick Cave’s Mammoth exhibition at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC (February 13, 2026-January 3, 2027).
