On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at approximately 7:10 a.m., MCAD Campus Safety received a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft from a campus parking lot. The vehicle, a Kia Soul, had sustained damage to a rear passenger-side window and steering column.

Our Student Counseling and Wellness Center (SCWC) is now home to Therapy Dog, Millie (a very sweet Golden Retriever) who is cared for and trained by Kate Goodman, Director of Student Counseling and Wellness.
Millie loves to have friends stop by for cuddles and treats and will be available during the noon hour Mon-Fri in Kate's office (M06). SCWC will also be welcoming a few Certified Therapy Dog volunteer teams this semester.
Counseling is available to all students for both in-person and remote appointments.
