Join legendary Disney animator and director Aaron Blaise as he takes you behind the scenes of his animated short, Snow Bear.

In this session, Aaron will share the creative spark that inspired the project, walk through the development process from early concept to finished film, and offer a look at the realities of distributing an independent animated short in today's landscape.

The session will conclude with a Q&A, allowing attendees to ask Aaron about his process, his career, and the world of independent animation.

Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., MCAD is hosting its first Queer Resource Fair, where organizations from across the Twin Cities will be present to share information, make connections, and provide avenues of support for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and the community at large.

This event is free to attend and will feature crafts, games, and activities for attendees.

Come on down and connect with some of our local organizations such as Family Tree Clinic, Boneshaker Books. Outfront Minnesota, Gender Justice, and many more!
