Dear MCAD community,
MCAD is in the process of changing over our heating system in the Morrison building from steam heat from the MIA to a stand-alone boiler system. The new boiler will be situated in the existing papermaking room in the basement of the Morrison building and is slated for installation starting spring 2027 with preparatory work done beginning in 2026. As a result, MCAD’s papermaking facilities will not be available during the 2026-27 academic year.
This will affect our Print Paper Book curriculum in the following ways:
6:30-9:00 p.m. CT
7:00-9:00 p.m. CT
