Join us in honoring the legacy of Carole Fisher, beloved alumni and faculty emerita, with a public sale of her studio works benefiting the Carole Fisher Scholarship Fund. This endowed fund continues Carole's legacy and enables students to receive the extra support needed to attend MCAD.

Prices range from $25 to $2,000. Card and check payment accepted.

MCAD Campus Safety Follow-Up (6/16/25)

Shortly after Midnight tonight (6/16/25), MCAD Campus Safety was alerted to possible vehicle break-ins in the Hive Surface Lot.  While investigating that report (two vehicles had broken windows, but nothing missing from either vehicle--owners of both vehicles were notified), approximately five gunshots were heard southeast of campus, and Minneapolis Police were notified by MCAD Campus Safety and responded to the scene.  A single male (no known MCAD affiliation) approached Campus Safety near the corner of 26th St.

In 1923, with income from an endowment fund established by Ethel Morrison Van Derlip, MCAD established the Ethel Morrison Van Derlip Traveling Scholarship.

This year Van Derlip Awards in the amount of $2,500 each will be awarded in the following departments;

Gallery 148 is student run, student juried, and shows student work. It is your opportunity to curate a professional quality show right on campus. We hope to show a diverse cross-section of the talent and interests on the MCAD campus. All disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.
