Art Shanty Projects: Featuring Kite Fest Day and More

It is once again time for the Art Shanty Projects, an annual winter art and community event hosted on the frozen water of Bde Uman/Lake Harriet. Inspired by pop-up ice fishing villages, artists use the frozen lake to create whimsical, weird and joyful winter art experiences for grown adults and kids of all ages. Running Jan. 17th-Feb.

Open Studio in the MCAD Printshop

Join Print, Paper, Book faculty member Erin Maurelli for an open studio session where you print your own poster. The press will be set up for participants to print a pre-designed poster or create their own poster. No previous printmaking experience needed.

All supplies provided.

This workshop is geared for individuals, not classes. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni welcome!
