There have been a number of signs and posters hung up around campus in places that are not approved for postings. There are dedicated places to place signs and posters per the policy below. Signs in non-designated areas will be removed later today (Tuesday) and can be picked up in Student Affairs.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m.

A few minutes before 1 pm today, one of our core switches had a hardware fault, which essentially fractured network communications.
This affected everything on campus, from wireless, internet, and printing - to servers, file access and applications.
We were able to determine the cause of the problem within about 20 minutes - and were able to resolve the hardware issue.

On November 1, 2022 at 11:40 PM, a resident at 113 E 26th St called in a suspicious individual in the lobby of the Hive. MCAD Campus Safety responded and escorted the individual out of the building and off of campus property.
In reviewing camera footage, it appears that entry was forced on the main entrance to the building, and one package containing a ‘gray’ jacket was opened, and the item taken by the individual. If you are expecting a package containing this item, please report the theft to MCAD Campus Safety, as well as Minneapolis Police at 311.
