Requests for Fall 2025 Incomplete Grades Due by Friday, December 12 at 5:00 p.m.

This is a reminder that any Fall Semester 2025 requests for incomplete grades must be submitted to Records no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12.  Requests for incomplete grades are always due by the final day of classes for the semester.

Please note that incomplete grades are only possible under certain circumstances.  See the Student Handbook for the full policy.

Students who are currently on academic probation may not receive incomplete grades.

2025-26 Important End of the Semester & Winter Break Info

3D Shop

The 3D shop will close for the semester on December 12 at 6:00 p.m. Please make sure you return all tools and remove all projects and materials from all shop spaces. Anything left will be recycled or thrown away.  The shop will open for Spring semester 2026 on January 20 at 8:00 a.m. There is no shop  access for students/faculty/staff from December 13, 2025 to January 19, 2026. Please contact Don Myhre (3D shop director: don_myhre@mcad.edu 612 874 3642) if you have any questions.

Gallery 148 - Call for Artists and Curators - Fall 25 Season!

Deadline is Monday, April 14 ~ Online

Would you like to show your work in Gallery 148? Do you have an idea for a gallery show you would like to curate

Gallery 148 is student run, student juried, and shows student work. It is your opportunity to curate a professional quality show right on campus. We hope to show a diverse cross-section of the talent and interests on the MCAD campus. All disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.

It’s the 2025-2026 Annual MCAD Merit Competition!

This scholarship competition is designed for students who are currently enrolled full-time in an MCAD degree-seeking program. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or better is required to enter. *Students receiving VA Yellow Ribbon or the Tuition Exchange/Waiver award are not eligible to compete in merit scholarship competitions.

Merit Scholarship Awards will be added to existing financial aid.

Artwork must never be hung in any stairwell due to fire & safety hazards.

All spaces must be reserved through Academic Services in office #133.

Spaces available for check out: hallways on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor.

Spaces NOT available for check out: bathrooms, stairwells, floors or elevators.
