Reserving a Space for Finals; Students and Classes

Hello everyone! Happy (almost) Spring;

With the space needed for Spring 2025's commencement, installation space reservations will look different this year. Here is what you need to know:

FOR STUDENTS

Space reservations are limited on the fourth floor with two additional floating walls. Spaces are limited to one space per person, per class. If you would like a space for a class critique, you will have the reserved space from the day of your reservation (beginning at midnight) and ending after your class is done.

Dear Students-

Are you thinking about a new workstudy job for next year??? We are!

The SB will need to hire a bunch of new folks for Fall 2025. Could that be you?!?

Interested in learning more about printing, document setup, layout, and finishing equipment?

Send us an email now to let us know you're interested (sbureau@mcad.edu).

We will send out applications over the summer once we know who qualifies for workstudy for the 25/26 school year.

Gallery 148 - Call for Artists and Curators - Fall 25 Season!

Deadline is Monday, April 14 ~ Online

Would you like to show your work in Gallery 148? Do you have an idea for a gallery show you would like to curate

Gallery 148 is student run, student juried, and shows student work. It is your opportunity to curate a professional quality show right on campus. We hope to show a diverse cross-section of the talent and interests on the MCAD campus. All disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.

Title IX Spring 2025

On January 9, 2025, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky ruled that the Biden administration's Title IX Final Rule is unconstitutional for all schools nationwide. As a result of this decision, MCAD will withdraw its current Title IX policy. In the interim and on advice from our legal counsel, MCAD will reinstate the 2020 Title IX Regulations to ensure compliance with federal requirements.
