MCAD housing residents may submit a request for a parking permit in the Hive garage or outdoor lot space. A lottery is conducted to determine who will receive a parking assignment. Hive residents receive priority in parking assignments.

Activity: We need to upgrade the firmware on our production firewalls. This process takes about 30 minutes, and a couple of reboots of the hardware. Afterwards there will be considerable testing that occurs to ensure all services are back up and running.
Affecting: All internet access on campus, including dormitories.
BackOut Plan: Will be to revert back to the current version of firmware.
Communication/Updates: Will be provided via OmniAlert when the work is complete.

On Monday, December 9, 2024, a motor vehicle theft from the exterior Hive Parking Lot was reported to MCAD Campus Safety at 9:40 p.m. In reviewing video footage from 12/8/24 at 1:48 a.m., an individual, appearing to be a light-skinned male wearing all dark clothing, entered the lot on foot from the north alley access, and immediately approached a white Honda CR-V in the lot.
