Attempted Vehicle Burglary/Theft

On 6/2/25 at approximately 8:15pm Campus Safety was alerted to an attempted vehicle break in or theft, we were unable to ascertain exact intent. Suspect is a black male who was wearing a white T-Shirt and dark pants. The suspect was driving a dark colored Audi crossover MN license JPK 545. Suspect vehicle was seen exiting the lot northbound in the alley and turning west on 26th St. MPD was notified.

Safety Bulletin - Robbery, 5/28/25

MCAD Campus Safety was just alerted to a Robbery that had occurred today (05/28/25) near the MIA parking ramp at the corner of 3rd Ave S and 25th St. E. shortly before 3:00 p.m..  A female in her 60’s was walking when approached by a heavier-set dark-skinned male, likely in his mid- to late-20’s, when he grabbed the bag she was carrying and pulled it away from her, tossing the bag to a nearby male, and then took off running towards Clinton Ave where he was seen getting into a dark blue Volvo at the corner of 26th St.

Congratulations to Brett Smith!

Join us in congratulating Brett Smith on his promotion to Director of Student LIfe. Brett moved into this role as of May 14, 2025.

In this role, Brett will oversee Student LIfe Specialist (Alicia Kuir Alamillo), Student Activities Coordinator (yet to be filled) and will be responsible for student housing. Brett will continue to report to Jen Zuccola, VP of Student Affairs.
