Counseling is available to all students for both in-person and remote appointments. All counseling resources, including how to book an appointment, can be found on the “resources” section of the MCAD Intranet under Student Counseling and Wellness.

The MCAD community has come together to create a Mutual Aid Resource Center in the Studio Stace on the second floor, across from the Service Bureau. If you are in need of food, toiletries, and other necessities, please come to the studio space and collect what you need. If you are able to donate, please bring food, hygiene products, and toiletries. Campus safety has asked that all donations be brought in by someone with MCAD badge access.

ICYMI: Our Student Counseling and Wellness Center (SCWC) is now home to a Therapy Dog in training. Millie (5 month old Golden Retriever) has been getting used to life at MCAD with Kate Goodman, Director of Student Counseling and Wellness. Millie loves to have friends stop by for cuddles and treats and will be available during the noon hour Mon-Fri in Kate's office (M06). SCWC will also be welcoming a few Certified Therapy Dog volunteer teams this semester.

From observational drawing, action figures, quilted textiles, to artists books, this group exhibition features a selection of works created by first year MCAD students. In their Foundations Courses, students undertake classes in 2D, 3D, Drawing 1-2, Media 1, Ideation and Process, cultivating a variety of new skills and growing their creative ingenuity. With over 25 works, this exhibition highlights these young artists who are planting deep roots for a lifelong creative career.

Staff and faculty are covered by ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) law. The MCAD accommodation process is how the college documents, determines, and protects accommodations.
The accommodations process provides employee and institutional protection, and ensures continuity of care for the employee and department.

Would you like to show your work in Gallery 148? Do you have an idea for a gallery show you would like to curate
Gallery 148 is student run, student juried, and shows student work. It is your opportunity to curate a professional quality show right on campus. We hope to show a diverse cross-section of the talent and interests on the MCAD campus. All disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply.
