Self-Service Software Updates for Users During COVID-19

PLEASE NOTE: This article and the following link were intended to support users who couldn't come in to the office for assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since that time our software distribution systems have changed greatly. Anyone who was issued a machine from MCAD after this time should be able to update through other means and should reach out to the Help Desk directly if they need assistance.


MCAD students, staff, and faculty have the ability to update or install some of their own software without working directly with the Help Desk.

Please visit this article for complete instructions on updating or installing Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, or the latest version of MacOS, Catalina (10.15).
