Exporting a movie file from Premiere for computer playback/class critiques

These instructions are to encode a compressed QuickTime movie appropriate for playback off a computer (such as in critiques). It is not appropriate for streaming web delivery/download or for archival purposes.

Exporting a h.264 movie file in Premiere for computer playback/ class critiques:

1. With the Premiere project open, select File > Export > Media

2. In the Export Settings window pane, select:

Format: H.264
Preset: Match Source - High bitrate

3. Click on the file name under Output Name to select a save-to location and to custom name the new video

4: Click on the Export button to export your movie
