Manuscript Format
The MLA standards for document formatting include:
- 1" margins all around
- 12 point, Times New Roman or other similar serif font
- Double spacing throughout the manuscript (including quotes, notes, and list of works cited)
- Consecutively numbered pages in upper right corner
- Heading on the first page of your document, positioned in the upper left corner, with your name, instructor's name, course name, and date (all on separate lines)
